Thank you for taking the time to look around at my website. As you may notice it is mainly in Dutch, as The Netherlands are where I live and keep my practice. Hopefully you will still get an impression of who I am from the images and from this brief introduction...

My name is Tjarda-Marie Voogt. I started out fourty years ago, as a social worker with a degree in creative educational therapy.

Since then I have been active as a psychiatric social worker and a creative therapist with children in shelters; mentally challenged people; psychiatric and psycho-geriatric patients.

This gave me a lot of experience with the treatment of such diverse conditions as autism; depression; bi-polar and anxiety disorder; borderline personality disorder; addiction; domestic violence and dementia.

Apart from the persons I treated I became very much aware of the burden on the people close to them.

Spirituality has been a natural part of my everyday life ever since I was a child. It gradually found itself a place in my social work.

In the 1980's I developed a deeper interest in working with energy, taking courses in the fields of magnetism; Reiki; ethereal therapy; psychometry; neuro-linguistic programming; and various forms of massage therapy.
